Shuttle Launch UpdatesIndian River Queen will be offering Shuttle Launch Viewing Cruises for the final two launches.Enjoy the experience.... and view a rocket or shuttle launch from the BEST waterfront viewing location in the Space Coast. Island Boat Lines will take you as close as permitted by the USCG north on the Banana River & Indian River. Both rivers are home to herds of Manatees, flocks of Birds and playful Dolphins. You will have a clear view of the launch in the comfort of our USCG Certified passenger vessel.

To avoid confusion you will be told where your boarding location is at the time you purchase your tickets. Scheduled Time: Scheduled Time: Boarding Begins 1.5 hours prior to scheduled launch / Departs 1 hour prior to launch / Launch Viewing /Return to dock following launch. Space is limited to 38 per vessel. Visit Island Boat Lines to view our other boats. The Queen is the BEST venue to view a space shuttle launch! Launch Cancellation Policy: PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY Advanced Reservations are required by calling 321-454-7414.You must secure your reservation in advance by purchasing a boarding pass. All tickets must be paid for in full at the time you make your reservation. There will be no ticketing onboard the day of the launch. ALL LAUNCH CRUISE TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE to another launch mission. If the launch is cancelled you can use your boarding pass for any public scheduled Island Boat Line or Indian River Queen cruise. Planning Your Launch Day: Closely monitor the launch date status before finalizing your travel plans to Florida. Launches are always subject to change and have unanticipated delays. You will be required to call again to secure a boarding pass for the rescheduled launch cruise. Your name will be your reservation code when you board. Please bring a printed copy of your boarding pass voucher and ID to validate your boarding pass. You must arrive on time. Wear comfortable footwear and jackets in the event of cool weather. The vessels will depart promptly at the scheduled departure time. If you miss the boat you will not get a refund. Plan to board 1.5 hours before Lift Off. We depart the dock one hour prior to Lift Off. Expect heavy traffic on launch day. Plan extra travel time. We will not hold the vessels or return to the dock to pick up any late passengers. It is your responsibility to keep up to date with the current launch date information. We will not call passengers in the event of a launch schedule change. We will post a general phone message so that all instructions are clear. NO ONSITE PARKING FOR THE INDIAN RIVER QUEEN DURING LAUNCH DAY. Plan to park in the public parking areas in Cocoa Village. All tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE. Scrubbed launch cruise tickets can be used on any public Island Boat Line or Indian River Queen cruise. Reservations are required. What's NOT permitted on the Queen: No coolers! You are not permitted to bring any alcohol onboard the Queen! We have a full service bar that will provide beverages & snacks. Fire arms or weapons of any type with or without a permit are not permitted! Smoking PERMITTED on outside decks only. |
